Having the bus prepped and waiting at every stop made traveling with kids and elderly family members completely stress-free. Skipping ticket lines was a massive bonus, and having a cool bottle of water waiting for each of us after every hike or excursion was an absolute lifesaver—he made sure we were never short on refreshing water! Chamil gave us honest, genuine recommendations for food and shopping, ensuring we experienced authentic local culture while completely avoiding overpriced tourist traps. Chami wasn’t just a tour guide, he was like family. We covered an extensive area of Sri Lanka over our two week stay and even though we saw many great places I can easily say that Chami was the best part of our trip. Without him, our holiday would not have been half as good as it was. He had great knowledge of local areas, a fantastic network of contacts across the country and above all was the most genuine person we met during our whole stay. Would highly recommend Mandara Tours and I would give 6 out of 5 stars if I could!
